Infura Marketing Design

Overivew

I came onto Infura as sole owner of its design system — separate from MetaMask’s, with its own brand and its own audience to solve for. My title was Senior Marketing Designer, but the role functioned as art director. The core challenge was translation: Infura is API infrastructure, the kind of product that’s easy to describe accurately and hard to make anyone care about. I built a visual language confident enough to say “Build. Scale. Disrupt.” while staying credible to developers evaluating real claims — uptime, request speed, network support.

From there, the work expanded well past the marketing site: embedded in product sprints, leading creative for event activations from NFT.NYC down to smaller booth design, owning email marketing from event sends to the monthly newsletter, and building the illustration system that ran through all of it — including a weekly cadence of social ads and blog content, backed by a growing illustration asset library.

Context + Approach

As owner of Infura’s design system, I served as art director for the brand while holding the title of Senior Marketing Designer. Infura’s core challenge was translation — making an API infrastructure product legible to both the crypto-curious and crypto-native without losing technical credibility. That meant building a system flexible enough to carry a bold, confident brand voice while still clearly communicating real infrastructure claims — uptime, request speed, multichain support — in a way developers would actually trust.

Product Design

Context + Approach

Outside of marketing, I was embedded with the Infura product team — joining jam sessions on upcoming features and sitting in on sprints to help manage the product-side design system and token library. That closeness kept marketing and product visually and structurally aligned, rather than the two evolving as separate systems that happened to share a logo.

Context + Approach

Led creative for Infura’s event presence at multiple scales. NFT.NYC was the largest — designing out-of-home placements, swag, digital ads, and a dedicated landing page. At smaller events like Builders Jam and EthCC, I designed booth environments and supporting activation assets, adapting the same brand system to physical, in-person spaces rather than just screens.

Context + Approach

Managed and created Infura’s illustration system end-to-end, used across the marketing website, sales collateral, and digital ads. With a technical product like Infura, illustration carried a lot of the weight that plain product screenshots couldn’t — giving abstract infrastructure concepts a visual identity people could actually connect with.

Context + Approach

Designed social ads and blog featured images on a weekly cadence, combining layout work with original illustration. Rather than treating each piece as a one-off, I built out a growing illustration asset library — reusable elements I could pull from and recombine for new layouts — so weekly production stayed sustainable without sacrificing visual consistency across the volume.

Email & Newsletter Design

Email & Newsletter Design

Email & Newsletter Design

Context + Approach

Designed Infura’s email marketing across two different needs: event-specific sends and an ongoing monthly newsletter. For NFT.NYC, I built the full email lifecycle for ConsenSys Connect — confirmation, waitlist, and related sends — each carrying the same illustrated, on-brand feel as the rest of the activation. For the monthly newsletter, I redesigned it into a modular system: a swappable hero banner for partnership moments, and a repeatable set of resource cards — Feature, Community, Webinar, Workshop, Twitter Space — so each month’s content could be assembled quickly without rebuilding the email from scratch.
