Brought on in 2019, right as Amazon acquired PillPack, to help build the icon system for the newly rebranded Amazon Pharmacy — more than 100 icons spanning decorative and utility use, plus empty-state and instructional illustrations. The real challenge wasn't volume, it was translation: given a list of required concepts — allergy, doctor, prescription — I had to design icons that would read as universally and neutrally as possible, with no unintended lean toward any one cultural or visual bias, since these icons needed to work for every user regardless of background. Turnaround was tight, so I ran weekly check-ins with the product team and pushed through multiple rounds of iteration to land on the final set. Six years later, those icons are still live in the Amazon Pharmacy app today.
